Frog Vol Report: Alabama @ Tennessee 10-25-2008

Its not Halloween until next week but Tennessee’s offense scares me to death. They are Horrible. So bad, in fact, I am writing this post while the game is still in progress. With only nine minutes left in the ballgame and down by twenty-six points. This offense is awful against anyone that has a decent defense, something has to give. Tennessee will no doubt go 3-5 on the season in a little while, it is time for a major change at UT. Next week the Big Orange travels to Columbia, South Carolina, and I look for yet another loss. 102,000 plus at Neyland Stadium and the Vols cant do nothing with the football. I can’t wait for basketball season.

Frog Vol Report: Tennessee @ Auburn 9-27-2008

Where the Offense?

Tennessee had at least five chances to win this game and could not do it on Saturday as they lost at Auburn 14-12. A new quarterback may be in the mix this week as the Vols prepare for a home game against Northern Illinois on Saturday October 4th at 7pm. The game will be aired per pay-per-view, however I do not see them making that much off of this game as the Vols have had trouble pleasing the crowds with their lackluster performance on the offensive side of the ball so far this season.

Defense, however is still one of the best in the SEC.

Frog Vol Report: Florida @ Tennessee 9/20/2008

Florida 30   VOLS 6!!!   Gators get their fourth straight win over Tennessee.

If I could describe the game with one word it would have to be:
DISGUSTING, HORRIBLE, AWFUL, PREDICTABLE, SICKENING, and plain outright UGLY!! Well, sorry about that but come on Tennessee use to be a powerhouse in college football, but now, the way the season is going so far, we look to be the laughing stock of the SEC! The Gators took the stadium over by halftime as fans clad in orange were making their way to the exits.

So what is wrong? Let me describe it with one phrase:
Coaching is outdated!

So they have no leadership on the field of play! Special teams is horrible! The players have no confidence in themselves or their team!

Next up Auburn!
LSU beat Auburn at home Saturday night, and they will not want to loose two in a row at home, so look out Big Orange!!!

(note) Defense was good in this game, Florida beat us by 39 points last year!

Frog Vol Report: UT had the week off

No game to report on this week, which is good because I am still upset from last week. Next game Saturday September 13th vs UAB, will the VOLS turn it around? They better as the Florida Gators come to town on the 20th.
