The Tennessee Vols Baseball Team (27-21 Overall, 11-13 SEC) is trying to stay in the top eight in the SEC so they can go to the SEC tournament. Only the top eight teams get to advance to the tourney which will be held in Hoover Alabama on May 26th through May 31st. They just finished out a three game series with Georgia (13-33, 3-19) with a win on Friday May 7th 4-1, Saturday May 8th 25-5, and Sunday May 9th 14-11.

Junior Cody Hawn had two home runs and 8 RBIs, including a first inning Grand Slam, in Sundays match-up to give the Vols the comeback victory.

Alabama also won on Sunday to keep the Vols hopes alive to make it to the SEC tourney. With only eight games left including a three game series at Auburn (32-15, 14-9) and at home against Alabama (28-19, 9-14), the Vols have a good chance of making the tournament.
